Finally heading away on Tuesday to La Clusaz. You can spot me at the bottom of the chair lift at Balme at 08.59am screaming at the lift operator to turn the lifts on!
Hows the snow conditions at the moment? Anyone been out there recently?
To say I am counting down the last few days at work is an under-statement!
Hows La Cusaz these days?

Cant help you with what the conditions are like, but I know what you are feeling in anticipation of going away. I was like a kid in a sweetshop 2 weeks ago just before going to Mayrhofen, first ski trip this season, and its another 4 weeks until I go again, and I really cant get motivated to do any work between now and then.
Make sure that when you are there, you maximise every possible minute of it, because its all over far too quickly I am afraid.

It's great! Perfect skiing weather, sun and blue skies with well-groomed pistes and you can still find soft powder if you know where to look!
All the runs have good snow-cover down to the village and there's about 1.5m at the top of the mountain.
Balme is excellent first thing - I may well join you, look out for bright orange salopettes!

Thanks for the heads up graveteski. It looks liuke it is going to be a corker. I can hold my own on the slopes now, so I am looking forward to putting down some miles. I will look out for those orange salopettes. I'll be the one with the funny Northern Ireland accent. I don't think there will be too many of those around!
I know how you feel tony. When I get back from this trip I will have another month to wait until the next one. I have pre-warned my boss not to expect too much of me! Whrere are you going next? We are off to axamer lizum on the 8th March, but first thing first, roll on La Clusaz!
