Okay, busy times!!

Anyone in Val d'Isere or heading there for the 15th? Been glued to the weather and webcams, really can't wait....started my snowboarding adventures at New Year in La Plagne last year and all I can think of is snow.....if anyone lives nearby and can tell me what the locals predict let me know.

Had my first ride of the season 2 weeks ago in Southern Germany on the Feldberg, only 40cm of snow, no visibility and limited lifts, however it was great to be back in the saddle (even if I did gouge the hell ou the bottom of my board). Apart from a small accident on a t-bar (being dragged up the mountain by my board?!?!?) the strangest thing I have ever seen in a bar happened on the Sat night.....if you have never seen a drunk person in a small bar opening beer bottles with a chainsaw then I reccomend the Feldberg :) youtube link to follow soon....

Talking about damaging my board, I set about repairing it last week armed with nothing but the bits and bobs and a set of instructions from the net. I was nervous, I ended up with molten plastic all over me, but the board looks great...very proud that at the age of 31 I have not only taught myself to board, but to fix one too!!

Waves from Tenessee, back in Europe on Saturday......

Happy skiing/boarding/sledging/fertilizer-bagging or whatever you do on the hill.....winter is here!!
