hi
am i right in thinking that scladming in now open for skiing. we're due to go 1 dec. first time for 15 years so don't want to be disappointed when we get there

According to the Ski Club Great Britain website it is indeed open, 5 out of 46 lifts operating with 130cm on the upper slopes. With 14cm of snow forecast to fall in the next week it looks like your timing could be spot on :!:

I live just down the road - Schladming has been open since 26th October.
Its not fully open but there is plenty to do. Plus the mountains either side are also open. And, Flachau and Zauchensee are open - they are all on the same lift pass.
Its snowing again and due to snow all week. You will have a great time, the pistes are nice and quiet too. :D

hi thanks for the replies. its put my mind at rest and i see that 11 of the lifts are open now. getting better. :D
