Just watched test event of Ski Sunday.

Disappointing course for a World Cup event, let alone an Olympics.

An Olympic downhill should be the ultimate test, this is anything but.

Hardly worth cutting a piste through a national park to produce that!

Yep blue with a few red sections, great for gliders. Looks like a low intermediate could gun it top to bottom which is definitely not case for any other course.

I'm not sure I'd be hitting 115kph to be honest! They can only ski what's in front of them.

Didn't seem to be much snow there other than on the piste....
slippy slidey snow......me likey!

Have faith BB, long skis and some Genepi and 120 kph no problem.

It'll never happen. I didn't start skiing until until my 40's and I have a much keener sense of mortality than I had in my teens.

I hit nearly 80kph in Zermatt (on the glacier) and that was fast enough thank you.....

Completely agree, when you look at youtube, things seem to go bad very quickly once the speed builds.

80kph is faster than you will be allowed go in Norway surrounded by a car.

In the piece about Olympic preparations, they said the particular Korean region gets, on average, 37cm of snow a year. Man-made or bust, it would appear.

Was a bit of a dull course. Not exactly the Streif.
