Lermoos/Ehrvald

Hi Folks,

How's things at Lermoos and Ehrvald now ? I am intersested in ski conditions and facility status. Any top tips for ski hire/slopes and restaurants. Where are the best beginner slopes and schools.

Hi FB,
Heading to Lermoos on Friday 19th. Snow is not great at the moment with temperatures 7 degress plus, but expecting colder weather at weekend. It's my 3rd year to Lermoos. I go with my wife and kids and another family. There are a few Ski Hire outlets. It just depends where your staying for easy access. We take an apartment near the Post Hotel and there's a ski shop next door to that, plus a cafe/restaurant called Cafe Simon where we have lunch every day. The nursery slops and lifts are five minutes walk away so it's perfect. Lermoos is not exactly a thriving hotspot for apre ski but that depends what you're looking for.
If you have satellite tv you may be able to tune into an Irish TV station called RTE where tomorrow night Jan 16th you can watch a holiday programme all about Lermoos.

I had a good 1/2 week there... then the mild rain came. Will go again next year for the third time.
