My trip to Stubaier Gletscher last year

Had another fantastic 10 days on Stubaier Gletscher last year, arrived there in the end of March and didn't think I would get any fresh snow but we got it Happy it snowed a couple of times during those days. Weather was really nice most of the week so they had to close the piste going all the way to the bottom on our last day.



Had one or two days with bad weather also and one of those days a kid broke his leg just in front of us so we helped them to get hold of a Heli. It happened on his first ski day and one day before his birthday Sad
Got information from the boys dad couple of weeks later that he was OK and they were planning to do another ski trip.

Looks like great skiing, massive wide gentle piste or offpiste to open up the afterburners and a little steeper stuff if that is your thing. What is the easiest way to get there?

Easiest way is by plane to Innsbruck and then bus to Neustift. I don't have any direct flights from Stockholm to Innsbruck so I either fly to München and rent a car or go by car all the way from Stockholm.
