Never been there but been forced to go this year and have been told that I can ski in Val & Tignes if I want as they are not far away. What is it like is St Fois? People say it is good for powder skiing?

Any good places to eat or should I take 7 frozen pizzas?

Why go to Ste Foy when you can ski in La Rosiere? Same deal applys throughout the Haute Tarentaise, buy a six day lift pass in one resort and you can ski any other in the valley at a reduced rate. I haven't skied Ste Foy since the season before last, never bothered to go there last year, we used to like it but now it's full of identikit chalets and the only French you'll hear spoken is by the lifties. So go to a resort which is sunnier, has more interesting skiing including a link to Italy and take a day trip to Ste Foy but only if it's just snowed, although I won't be doing that until the snowbase has stablised. If you're interested in La Rosiere we've got a speciula deal in January, a free six day Espace san berardo lift pass wioth every adult weeks booking.
