Sunglasses V's Goggles

Due to the heavy snow I wore goggles most of the time, but on the couple days of blue skies I thought I would get out the Sunglasses ..... but I really got pee'd off that every so often especially when I stopped they steamed up, which got me more grumpy than normal, so I have decided now that it is goggles only for me from now on ..... 8) :evil:

Agree, aslo prevents tears at high speeds which sunglasses are prone to. Goggles fit helmets better. Shame about the odd tan line over the season though.

I don't suffer with the tears issue and I don't wear a lid, although goggles do keep your bobble hat from moving up over your ears ..... Me I'm goggles only now.

I never used to like goggles but a few years ago something changed and I don't ski in glasses at all now, unless its spring time and proper bluebird all over the mountain. But drop into a shaded area and you find it much harder in goggles.

I find myself wearing goggles all the time now, but still carry some sunnies for when I stop as goggles come off when not skiing.

I bought some Briko sunnies for this latest trip and took them off after an hour as I found the same issue going in and out of the shade so reverted to the goggles. Shame as the glasses would be perfect in constant sub with wind protectors around the sides.

Finally found the Peyra Juana last week on an expedition to Serre Che. A lovely place. It's taken me 2 years to get there, but what a lovely surprise. Looked great with, or without goggles.

I pop over for the day, about 4 times a season, from Montgenevre so I haven't done a review.

Goggles mainly but depends on the weather. I am not a speed freak but it does get very teary with sunnies. I have a helmet this year for the first time so will try both. Note to others.....don't put your Oakley sunnies in a rucksack and then sit back hard on the chair lift!!! . They snap nicely, right in half. :cry:
