hallo everyone.on the 27th i fly to munich, renting a car go to Austria wherever i decide to.the thing is if someone could suggest me were would the snow be massive i would appreciate it.i am a snowboarder and i cant compromise with a bit of snow or with snowmaking pists.i need offpists, powders etc.
so i know St Anton-Lech-Ischgl that always have a lot of snow.but i ve been there many times.i would prefer South-East like Mayrhofen-Saalbach and in general somewhere arround there.but as i see it hasnt snowed for many days and the temp is up.if someone is already there or just came back from there and can help me i would appreciate it.
thank you all in advance.

Oh yeah? Not that I spotted on any forecast!!

Season kicked off kinda OK, but its been rather pants the last 7 days. We really need some new snow.

Got my brand new Nitro Pantera 168 Wide with Machine bindings and waiting on my new boots.......so we neeeeeeed some new snow!!!

Edit: I can see Friday looking like some snow, so Saturday might be OK. I'm doing an avalanche course this weekend.

What Andy said; The Alps (North at least) have got a couple more days before it turns colder and there look to be a few cycles of precipitation coming in from this weekend.

Amounts and locations are all a bit too far out to be reliable at the moment, but the general pattern is changing from "mild and settled" to "cold and unsettled".

Denni77 - the 27th is a long way off yet, and the weather's about to change. Make your mind up nearer the time if you can; you're not in peak time so can afford to leave your accommodation / destination decisions to the last minute.

all it matters is that i have booked a plane ticket and a car.now i only need snow.
thank you all so far for your advises.

We abe just got back from Filzmoos in Ski Amade where it turned slushy at the weekend. However, they had tons of snow in Zauchensee and it's not a bad drive from Munich
