For those who like graphs and weather, check out the latest run of the model forecast for Geneva in the GFS Ensemble
4th November looks "interesting" to say the least.
Forecast will doubtless change a lot between now and then, but it could be an interesting weekend...

Interesting!
For French resorts of the Tarentaise, though, the freeze/thaw line looks quite high (3000m +) which means any precipitation will be the dredded liquid stuff.
Wonder whats going on that Geneva is so much colder than Morzine (for example)?

Yes Admin, the current weather is 'interesting' for sure!
And not only in that area: take a look at what's happening right now with hurricane Sandy in my neck of the woods: We have the most weird storm ever hitting the North East, US!
Even in my state [RI] things are not looking good: we already had a few trees down, few thousands households lost power, some of our low beach areas are under mandatory evacuation orders. There were some comments that the storm might turn similar to the New England "snowicane" of 1804, as up to 3 feet of snow was forecast for the West Virginia mountains. Weird!!!
