Hi snowmusic,
Need a but more information for good recommendations, when are you planning on going, do you want loads of apres ski. Do you want a big area to explore, want off piste, how long a transfer you prepared to have, etc etc
The more info you give the more chance someone giving you a great recommendation. For me it also affected by where I live and the rubbish number of flights to decent destinations from my local airport for example

Spot on, John. In contrast, I live 30 min fron Edinburgh Airport, and can access many good alpine locations.
Ski/board capability is an influence. People in their first 3 years of action will not receive the full benefit of a big resort. You can start by giving the location of your most convenient airport.
How long do you want to stay, and are you prepared to DIY or do you wish to stick with a Tour Operator?
