Hi,
As some of you may have read in another post, I had my skis stolen while at lunch. Luckily I was at the top of a slope with a bubble that could get me don to te resort.

What happens if there is no obvious way down when you have no skis?
Can chair lifts be user?
The staff on the mountain were absolutely no help at all.

Thanks

If it was me, I would ask another skier to contact the people with the skiddoos, they could bring you down on the back of one. Bad luck that tho. Surely someone picked em up by mistake? I mean how do you know they'd be right for you, and where would you put em, when presumably most people already have skis. Mind, some people'll nick anything. Buggers!

You can go down on chairlifts, just have to rush to get off at the end!

Will the staff actually allow you to go down on a chair?
Would they not have to stop the lift at each end?

I've been down chair lifts in rauris. The alternative was a very icy red/black I didnt fancy. The kids'd ski down and we'd get the chair!
But the skiddoos can definitely be used

btw You only have to stop the lift at one end lol. The other end automatically stops!

They just slow it down (well that's what they did in Sauze as there wasnt enough snow on the resort runs!)
