Good old british press!! At least the locals out there are doing something about it! If we have 5cm everything comes to a grinding halt but they can be forgiven with 10ft in 4 days

I know Ischgl is cut off with police guarding the roads so no traffic leaves, due to high avalanche risks. Not heard about much else apart from some closed roads in 3 valleys for the same reasons.

i read that this morning and chuckled to myself. when the daily mail reported no snow in the alps im pretty sure it had started snowing the day before.
