Welcome to J2ski :D Based on your needs as a group, I suggest Megeve. Plenty to do and see off the slopes, on the hill there are lots of gentle blues.

Worth looking at some of the Austrian resorts if your looking for picturesque.

For Austria, perhaps BKK with it's extensive Spa facilities would be worth considering.

How about cross country skiing, nice easy slopes, no lift pass no fear of being out of control and very picturesque.

Hi

A disapointing response to this question, me feels!

Megeve looks great, especially for a group with a huge range of levels. But surely someone has some other suggestions, other than cross country skiing?!

As usual I always suggest Seefeld/Austria. Wonderful town, casino lovely shops, restaurant s for every budget. Wonderful spa and pool in centre with outdoor heated pool. Three ski areas all within walking distance but ski buses if you want. 200km cleared walkways for all levels of walking plus x country ski. One of the best ski schools in Austria. Short tranfer from airport about 25mins. Train station in centre so very easy to go to either Innsbruck or Germany. Any other questions just fire away. I have been so many times I know it inside out.
