Hello all J2Skiers....
I hope to bring a group to Austria in Feb next year with a group of 15 hopefully however I cannot find a suitable resort!! Roughly half are beginners and I have read that resorts such as St Anton are considered to difficult for beginners. I was looking at resorts such as Soll or Mayerhofn but am concerned about the altitude and snow cover!!
We are all aged between 20 and 25 and are looking for great nightlife as well as brill skiing?? how about Solden??
Budget would be roughly 1000e. Anyone have any suggestion??
Thanks in advance,

Try France for the best nightlife ..... No silly men in leather pants either

Hi
If you are all men - Sölden could be just the ticket. When we were there, the place was full of testosterone-fuelled alpha males. Not sure if it's that suitable for beginners. The night life was frenetic. We also had a great holiday in Mayrhofen too - good night life and fine for beginners.
Schladming has great night life and the beigenners will be well looked after by Sschischule Hopl who speak good English (and don't wear lederhosen!) Söll is good fun but not so clever if there is not enough snow.
Have fun choosing

Solden is not a place for beginners. I've been to Mayrhofen many times and it has good slopes for all abilities, and good nightlife too. It is also fairly cheap to eat and drink out. I think it would be a good shout for your group.Skikeith wrote:Hello all J2Skiers....
