Ski Area Stats

Skiing

The mountains of Gulmarg boast some of the highest skiable terrain in the world, with the Gulmarg Gondola being one of the main lifts, ascending to 3,900 meters. Notable pistes include the famous 'Khadar' and 'Outer Circle', which cater to both beginners and advanced skiers alike.

Gulmarg offers good sking, particularly, for Expert skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Gulmarg is Srinagar, 134 minutes drive away.

To reach Gulmarg, travelers typically fly into Srinagar Airport, located about 50 kilometers away. From there, a scenic drive or taxi ride takes you through the beautiful Kashmir Valley to the resort.

When is Gulmarg open?

Usual opening is mid December, and usual closing is Mid April.
