In addition to the skiing in Sugar Bowl itself (84 pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Lake Tahoe ski resorts of Boreal, Diamond Peak, Donner Ski Ranch, Heavenly, Homewood, Kirkwood, Mount Rose Ski Tahoe, Northstar-at-Tahoe, Palisades Tahoe and Sierra-at-Tahoe.

Skiing
Sugar Bowl features the majestic Mount Lincoln and the north and south aspects of Mount Disney. The resort boasts several ski areas, including the popular Summit and the terrain served by the 6-person Lincoln Express lift, with notable pistes like the Mikey’s and the Dog Bone, suitable for varying skill levels.
There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

Snowboarding
Snowboarders will enjoy Sugar Bowl's excellent terrain parks, including the Pipe and the Park at the summit, which offer a range of features. The natural terrain also provides ample opportunities for freestyle riding.

How to get there
By Air
The nearest airport to Sugar Bowl is Boise, 71 minutes drive away.
Louisville and Friedman Memorial airports are all within three hours drive.
Reaching Sugar Bowl Resort is convenient via Interstate 80, approximately 30 miles from Truckee and only 60 miles from Reno-Tahoe International Airport. The scenic drive offers picturesque views of the Sierra mountains.

When is Sugar Bowl open?
We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.
Usual opening is late November, and usual closing is Mid April.
NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.
