The Austrian ski resort of Igls is part of the Innsbruck Glacier Ski/Stubai SuperSki Area and has direct access to 12km of downhill skiing, with 11 individual pistes, served by 7 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Igls itself (12km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Innsbruck Glacier Ski/Stubai SuperSki ski resorts of Fulpmes, Neustift im Stubaital and Tulfes.

With skiing above 2000 metres, snow cover is generally reliable.

Snowmaking :- Igls is able to augment natural snow through the use of 18 Snow Cannons.

Ski Lift Capacity :- The 7 Ski Lifts of Igls are able to uplift 1,600 skiers / snowboarders per hour.

There are three airports within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Igls are perfectly feasible. Innsbruck Airport is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
