The Austrian ski resort of Kaltenbach (in Tyrol) is part of the Zillertal Ski Area with access to 130 individual pistes. In addition to the skiing in Kaltenbach itself (69km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Zillertal ski resorts of Finkenberg, Fügen, Hintertux, Hippach, Mayrhofen and Zell am Ziller.

With skiing above 2000 metres, snow cover is generally reliable.
