The original design of the building is attributed to the famous Italian architect Baldassere Peruzzi and dates back to about 1520. The building has been owned and managed by the Coli Bizzarrini family from 1906 right up until the present day and the Italian Minister for Cultural Art has declared it as being of particular historical interest.

The ancient historic beauty of the building mirrors its surroundings in the heart of the magnificent city of Siena and the hotel has panoramic views of the entire city. The beautiful original features provide a glimpse into the building’s illustrious past.
