FOR SALE - NEW Volkl Mantra 191 2009 w/ Marker Duke 2010

I just bought these skis and skied them only one weekend. After having lost a bunch of weight though, I don't have the power to turn these babies properly. One of the best all-round skis ever made mounted with one of the best bindings ever made - It's the One Ski Quiver set up for randonee!! The 2009 Mantra is exactly the same ski as the 2010 except for the graphics.

The Matra is rigid and with enough sidecut to handle boilerplate ice and with a big old nose to handle the deepest powder (dims 133-96-116mm, length 191). The Marker Duke is a 16 din binding with touring capability (free heel) for getting to that untouched powder on the other side of the ridge. It's a bomb proof binding that outperforms most downhill bindings.

This is a setup for an expert skier that weighs in at 85kg+ and likes to use the whole mountain. If you prefer to stick to the groomers, this may not be the ski for you. It's pissing me off that I have to sell them and I'm almost tempted to put the weight back on...

They are basically brand new, with only a few scratches on the topsheet. I'm looking for CHF 1,100 - any serious bit will be considered. I can also look at selling the ski only and keeping the binding, if that's prefered.

CHF1100 is about £650 and would be on the pricey side for these skis, even new. Will you take an offer?
