No such thing as a cheap skiing holiday, I agree with admin keep your nerve and wait for the late deals.

I did a similar thing last year, flew from brum to geneva with ryanair and transferred to Les Carroz. Really struggled with accomodation cos the cheapest flights were outside of the resort's routine holiday week, ie, a monday to monday instead of saturday to saturday. But anyway, as a result of buying things separately and not considering the sat - sat thing, we ended up paying a bit more.

I just booked a package deal online yesterday for 8 of us, it worked out at 212.40 each, flights, transfers and a weeks sc accomodation in Serre Chevalier. That I think takes some beating!

odd, I see no reason for that, it's not a busy time. Right now you'll find most hotels are closed as it's in between seasons so they'll not respond to mail or anything though.

Good week, my internal snow log tells me the first week of March has had some of the biggest snow falls in the years I've lived here :D

If you are doing your own flights to Geneva then check out Chalet Chardon in Tignes Les Breviere. www.chaletchardons.com

I stayed there for a couple of months a few years back. It is basic (dorm rooms, 6 or so beds per room) but its also cheap! The location is great too. There is a direct bus to Tignes from Geneva airport and if you ask the driver he will drop you off in Les Breviere.

If they have space you can probably stay for the exact number of nights that you want rather than the usual Sat to Sat thing.

Kerching!!!
I think you might just have a very good deal there.
I am going for £359 including flights, transfers, and a weeks fully catered, so you need to spend less than £140 on food for a week!
