My OH and I went to Whistler for a week only last Christmas. It was so worth the long flight. Jet lag was a minor problem...we were up early...on the slopes early...straight to the bar at 4.30 ish and in bed by 10ish. We came home wishing we could have afforded two weeks but wherever we go we have those thoughts when it's time to come home. Feeling tired for a day when you go back to work is a very small price to pay for the best skiing in the world.
If I were you I'd jump at the chance...think of the powder!!!
Is Canada for a week do-able?

I've had to go to the West Coast of the US a lot over the years on business and it's pretty manageable while you're there. I try to arrive early evening and then stay up until midnight at least, getting up slightly later the next morning, around 0900 or so, have a good breakfast and then I find I'm fine. The second night I try to go to bed at around 2300 or so and avoid the temptation to sleep earlier and my body clock is adjusted. Returning is always a pain and I've not found a good routine to break that down.
Have you had a little too much booze?
Rose, you are so perceptive :D
Dave Mac.....Tino does not ski
I suppose he might come to his senses one day, but until then he's sticking to a tray

I have been to California 67 times this year, and going is a doddle. As has been posted it is perfect for skiing as you naturally wake early. Coming back is an absolute twat.
I am going again on Wednesday....which reminds me, BA gave me a bonus of 70,000 miles for doing it as I am a gold member, which means I have enough miles for 2 business class tickets to Vancouver ) Anyone interested?

Fan--tastic, Tino, 67 times, 6 to 7 times, that really woke them up. You shouldn't have explained, better left as it was.
Presumably, most on busines, ....but did you ski?
