Gareth Fair,
The worst is when you are in a small 4-6 gondola and you are just about to set in and you see the person in fron start to look about in pockets!
I then take out my gum and offer them some! Works!

But Pavel,
We were going to take the Bombardier Challenger, your son gave you for Christmas this year, for the meeting this time I thought. It will hold more than my Lear.
Not sure if the Atlantic Seniors Ski Club travels that far yet; but there is a "Ski 30" club in our area which has 72 members heading for Italy next week :!:
It would have been nice to go on that trip. Many of them were at Martock on the weekend preparing and getting the legs in shape for the trip.

I'm in complete (aka 100%) agreement with all above comments. Even France is taking up the smoking ban mentality :!:
Give me clean air or give me none :!:
Perhaps that's a tad rash.

Mike,
Do you think we could hold our annual meeting at this place! Seems pleasant and can accept our non-smoking ways!
Do you think they have a "private" landing area for your Lear Jet?
If you look at site pictures you will see very warm and clean rooms!
How many people have you got registered for our meeting?
Perhaps the Atlantic Seniors Ski Club could visit Austria next year!
Do they take "older senior skiers"?

Mike,
Italy, is there snow there?
Seems there is more snow here in Austria! Tell you what Mike, when that 5 million will be won, I will pay for you and Judy to stay at this place. It is now formally on cyber space!
But first you will have to do Sunday River on Rogue Angel for a week as a tune up to the great runs here!

Big family chalet!.
I am a non-smoker but ski with a mixed group.
I agree that communal areas should be smoke free but the choice of whether to make all apartments smoke free is a commercial decision that is up to you.
Our group of skiers (6 to 10 depending on circumstances) go where the the best mix of "allowed behaviour" fits us all. Italy banned smoking a couple of years ago. We don't go there now. France has just done the same. Likewise. Austrian Law still allows smoking so it is your choice. If you don't want us that's OK. If you do, allocate a couple of apartments for smoking and buy an air freshener.
It is similar to my own personal likes and dislikes. I hate the presence of screaming children with their self centered parents. I look for no-children apartments. In the end, until your government makes the law, you must act for your own best interests.

Thanks everyone who has voted and or expressed an opinion :-) I’m glad that the general agreement seems to be that smoking is not a welcome activity.
Now the question is: If I did the same survey but this time took a positive view of smoking, expressed my support for it and asked how many people would like to stay in a smoking apartment house, would I get the same high level of support for smoking. i.e. will I get the result that the question seems to support ??
I have no doubt Pavel will help us understand the background to this type of conundrum!
Thanks again all,
