Serre Che Marc 2013 - a film

Thats fine Ian, you enjoy your quiet movies and I'll stick to adding music, but pleast dont ask me to do a copy without the music as thats far too much additional editing ;-)
I don't know what you mean about disjointed though, as I spent a long long time editing clips to fit in perfectly with the music in question, and choosing music to fit the clips as well.
As you say, each to their own. Thanks for your feedback though. I will speak to the production manager and pass it on.
With imovie it is pretty easy to take the music off, if you want to know how give me a shout
owned..... lol
Sorry not with you on that one , it has gone over my head sorry

Great video Tony. I did enjoy the music but would have like a just a couple of mins of the sound of the skis on the snow. I'm not getting a ski fix this year for the first time in 9 years and watching these clips is the only thing keeping me sane. If you you could confirm that they have altenative toilet facilities to the one posted on your video I could be tempted away from my beloved Austria next year . Really enjoyed that, thanks for sharing again.

Ian Wickham wrote:Tony ....... it is good to disagree, I just like to do something a bit different, over the years I have used sound tracks but just got a bit bored with it and just wanted to go back to basics, and also my vids are for the family archive and not for public viewing, you guys get the edited version.
In my opinion music comes down to personnel choice and I have not seen too many videos where the music fits the beauty of the mountains, it all seems a tad disjointed.
But hey ho I am all for personal choice.

Yes fab video I'm sure your angle footage is far better than mine, we had a few problems with chest strap angles and bad visibility on 2 days, but the gopro filming is a first attempt with an old version so its all a learning curve and deciding on upgrade herein, its going to take me a while to edit everything and also haven't got the mac either but using power director which was suggested although its a trial version to start with, I will be trying to edit and get this vid of mine up over Easter !
