Bandit,

I had mentioned this item and thought it was a "Sun Bug Visor Clip" for glasses, look here and see what you think: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120171900820&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:Watchlink:middle:ca But then the Blue tooth earpiece has a similar shape.

We need Jan's resolution !!!

And since we are into technology ... could that yellow item at the tip of the Rossignol ski on the right be Pavel's MP3 player or Ipod of sorts? There seems to be something in blue tangled in the area - maybe earphones? He drew our attention to it but I thought it was just the ski tip end piece

I don't think anyone has yet named the model and year of the half Rossignol skis which are so obvious in Pavel's colage.

I see the "Rossignol T Power 9X pulsion" for 2002 in three places. Does this count for 3 items Pavel ?? The rear section (with riser binding mounting plate)is horizontal (level with the boot on the work surface) and it's front section above it on the poster (with the silver Sun Bug on the end) and another rear section (with riser binding mounting plate)is in a vertical position right of the ski just right of the plumb bob. (http://www.freeride.eu/review/view.php?id=578)

So where is the other front section ?????

Have you got it in Dorset ellistine??

Back to work now ... oh this is distracting...

Mike

I had to edit this because .....
I just realized I did't give the magic numbers for this ski (not that it matters being cut in half :x) but the numbers I think are 20.1/181 and if my measurements are right then the tip/waist/tail numbers are 105/65/93 !! Love that magic :!: and if there were a binding on the ski the DIN would be "9" ! Right Jan :?:  Also there must be a styelized "T" aft of "ROSIGNOL" under the oval we see on the ski front portion. No...no if you look closely and lessen the brightness and increase the contrast a tad you can see this "T".

And now I can't stop -- just like a kid in a candy store !

The Fischer RX9 ski we see vertically front and center is a fairly new ski being from 2005-2006 season. It is hard to tell for sure but it looks to be 170cm in length with a radius of oH about 17M. The tip/waist/tail magic numbers are 109/69/96. This ski is recommended for the advanced/professional skier - like Pavel :!:

Opps - here come the boss... bye

I forgot .. I am the boss

One more for now,.... in an almost golden color, the Dynamic to the right of the mirror is their "Freecarve 16" from 1998-1999 season (the year I found skiing :P). My estimate is that it is 170cm in length with tip/waist/tail numbers being 105/62/94 with a radius of say 16M. And if there were a binding on it, the DIN would be set to "9" for photo purposes - otherwise set to "0" for storage times.

Mike,

Are trying to impress Jan with your screen resolution also with the DIN settings!!!

By the way Jan, I have had many people write to me asking how you could have "seen" the DIN setting! I suspect there will be a "rush" to buy HD screens soon!!!!

Mike yes you are correct in your items!

Now look at the top right!!!!!

Top right corner ?? What could Pavel want us to see there ???
There is what I suggested earlier may be a length of base material (over the top of the Salomon 9000's, Head's and Rossi's), A ski red ski pole which looks like Atomic "Red" with it's strap over the tip of the ELAN ski, and thehere is the yellow item on the tip of the Rossi ski in that area. I suggested it may be a music delivery item but I'm now thinking it may be a tuning device from Toko - being yellow in colour. Also we see in the background a Dynastar ski and boot chart - as wall paper. Then there is the long telescopic aluminum tube which may be similar to a treking "cane" or pole, in a vertical position next to the ski pole in fron of the ELAN ski. But I think Pavel is looking for something more hidden for us to pounce upon. But what could this be ???

Yes you are correct with first item!

It is a base section from a broken ski which I will soon use in tune up class!

Now keep going left on top!

The others have gone into lurking mode Pavel!

I need better resolution; but what I see doesn't fit the sking context - actually it may not suit any context of this life. And these things may be more like the things you may have seen aided by the medications you received in your recent hospital visit.

Three items I see, all on the Smugglers' Notch poster, I will hold back for when desperations sets in. For now I'll just mention a name which is visible and suggest the others take a look at this site for some pictures which we better not let the sensible people in our lives see. They may take our skis from us !!

http://www.lordpeacock.com/06_07_Erik/index.htm#6 There are 9 pages full of the pictures of the places we all would love to ski.

The name which is visible (partially) is Erik Roner. This is on the poster and just above the (about 7" long)section of a yellowish ski above the Tyro ski left of the Dynamic ski. Not sure if this counts but now I'm off to get a look at Erik's pictures now
