I nearly bought a pair of skis the other day and I don't imagine it'll be long before I finally trash the pair I'm on so it might be a good time to look for some more.

... and ours hasn't been flushed quite as far down yet I was wondering if anyone had some recommendations for cheap ski shops on the internet in the UK, with the current exchange rate at 1.8 there might be some deals for me at least.

Try www.whitemountainonline.co.uk who have shops in Walsall and Wolverhampton. They have some nice kit at very good prices. I recently bought Head Worldcup SLs with FF14 bindings for £299, which is a massive saving compared to most places.
Also have a good selection of boots from last year at attractive looking prices.

Try the shop my learned friend has mentioned. His skis were a right bargain. I have bought from www.swisstimsskis.co.uk before, they were another good deal. The mountain warehouse website sometimes has some good cheap stuff, but limited.

Thanks for those. Nothing really leapt out at me, I was probably thinking of something more freeride really, like some BD Havocs or Kilowatts so I'll dig around more. There's a couple of places in the UK I get a major discount at so I'll drop them a note and see what they have.
