Hi
Can anyone recommend a catered chalet for a ski holiday next New Year ie 12months away. Needs to be good for adults and children - the women all liking a bit of luxury too!
No more than 90min transfer, shorter the better. Well located as some of the group don't ski, preferably with a nice resort centre a short walk.
Thanks

We are trying one of the Ski Beat ones in La Tania in January 2009, can give you a report back once we've been if your interested? It looks very comfortable from the pics, all en-suite, ski in/out and has it's own sauna.

Hi Daisy
there's 26 of us, a real mix of singles, couples and families. last season we had skiworld chalets annapurna I and II in tignes le lac and they were just perfect. unfortunately they've realised how beautiful these chalets are and hiked the price up so we've opted for a cheaper chalet this season.
I'm not sure if tignes will fit your bill, transfer's about 90 to 120 mins from chambery but it's not the most beautiful village and I don't know how much the non-skiers will like it (although I couldn't ski and had a fab holiday).
All that aside, I'd definitely check out the skiworld chalets. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. in fact, our resort rep is a friend of mine on facebook!
good luck :D

:DHi ,
In the past i have used a company called Ski Miquel (4 or 5 times) in places such as Serre Chevaliere ,St.anton and whistler and i rate them very highly.
Included in the price is accommadation, transfers, lift pass (some stays)cooked breakfast ,three course evening meal with unlimited wine ,and afternoon cakes (freshly baked) and tea.all their chefs are fully trained ,and all this is provided at a very reasonable price.
I hope this gives some food for thought :D :D

The places Ski Miquel use in Serre Che looks good and have excellent reviews, and are close to the slopes with under 2 hours transfer. Might be worth a look.
Skiworld and catered-ski-chalets are as good as anyone I have found.
