Recommendation needed for skiing 1/3/08 (1 week)

Hi there,

I'm trying to find a ski holiday for 2 adults, 1 week from 1/3/08. There obviously isn't much available. I was trying to get Val Thorens as I've been before and it's high up. But as I said, can't get much anywhere.

Can anyone recommend a website or company to approach, which will save me a lot of legwork? I'm not even sure which are the best places for reds and easy blacks. As a guide I've seen 2 deals on lastminute.com for Meribel/Mottarat for less than 350 (flights/accom/transfers only).

Any help would be appreciated.

Well i've just recently booked my weeks ski-ing trip week commencing 15/03/08 and found excellent deals on www.skihorizon.com

i'm off to les carroz (grand massif) 3/3/08 www.snowbeds.com sorted us some accomodation really cheap and bmi baby had some pretty cheap flights to geneva (loads of resorts near there). Apparently though, BA do cheaper flights and do not charge for extra luggage (skis) but i haven't checked this. If you go on the 1st however, i think flights will cost more than 3rd.

Snowbeds called within minutes of my email and had sorted us out accom which perfectly met our requirements. Very good service.

The total cost of our hol is £200pp flights and accom. Transfers and lift passes yet to arrange. It can be done!!
