Nothing wrong with Stones ginger wine, its far classier than the usual tipple round here.............white lightening and special brew, and thats before 8 in the morning

I think it is hard to seperate a taste for good wine from the taste for the good foods that wine normally accompanies. For me, that started out by eating good warmed French bread with some brie or pate. Choose a wine that's light fruity and young to start, maybe an Aussie shiraz. Follow that with a simple desert of 70/80% cocoa chocolate. Each piece washed down with sips of a merlot. Soon you'll be hooked and looking for more food/wine experiences.

I will give that a try, if not I'll settle for the chocolate desert. Oh god we,ve got no chocolate in the house, have a hankering for it now.

Try it but maybe try something a little lighter than a Shiraz. I would recommend a good Syrah or Chateauneuf du Pape.

Beer is my choice.

There can be as many or more subtle flavours and aromas from a well crafted beer as any wine.
