I kind of gathered that from your opening post but glad you confirmed for those who got a bit confused

I'm not back in the uk yet but I know just how you are feeling. I cannot imagine now, not being in the mountains for the whole of the ski season. I can't bear the thought of only being able to ski once, twice or even three times a year.

Some might say I have gone bonkers, and if that's true I don't care because I'm having the time of my life!

Life is short snowb4ndit, and any skier who has the opportunity should do at least one season somewhere!!! Its just the best!!! :D

Completely agree - any obsessive skier should move mountains  to do a season or two or three or four .......

I intended a brief sabatical from work and ended up doing 9 seasons

Although that part of my life came to an end over 20 years ago it is still a major source of good memories.

My first weeks skiing was in Andorra and I'd love to go back ~ nostalgia and all that. I'd make sure I skied the black run back to base, which I bottled out of before.

We spent alot of time in the Aspen ~ is it still there?

And yes, I would just love to spend a season somewhere. I have spent five or six months skiing ~ over the last ten years. If I could spend three months skiing continuously (not literaly) I reckon I'd be a brilliant skier!

I know Andorra is not everyones cup of tea, so please feel free to take tea elsewhere if thats how you feel!!

Me, I had an absolutely brilliant season as most people realised, met lots of new and old friends, and skied my old socks off.

Been home for 3 days and getting itchy feet already. Skis have been serviced ready for ............ Chile?

Hi Brucie - I'm glad you had such a great time

Chile sounds good :D

We are lucky in that Soldeu is "local" to us - this season we have spent 3 weekends there! We love it too! Great for the kids, love the fact that DH and DS can do a black, while DD and I do a blue but we can meet at the bottom!

Love the Italian restaurant at the top of El Tartar! Some of the mounain restauants are nt great but there are some gems!

This season we have had all types of snow from fresh powder to slush but that is all part of the fun!

Glad you enjoyed it!

Aren't you the smart one

Lots of us were, me included. I got in, scanned the forum, quickly read the post and typed out a fast reply. Note to self - other people do sarcasm on the forum so don't take everything so literally.

Brucie, nice one. You got me, big time. More importantly, glad you did a season. I'd love to, but with running my own business it would be hard, plus financially I'm just not in a position at the moment. Maybe in a couple of years, I could do some driving work and stay a season. Might have to chat to Snowb4ndit about that.

Anyway, start planning for the next one........
