The English Breakfast is probably an expat thing (for me anyway) - December to April is the only time I see a piece of bacon in France (lardons, just don't cut it)! It does seem very popular with people on holiday though. Oddly enough I've never been on a ski holiday - what's it like? Sounds like heaven, no kids to get to school, no work...just wake up and get on a lift, brilliant :)

Got back yesterday slopes are great with a top up of 4" of fresh powder yesterday. Had a week of sun and blue skies couldn't of been better should be awesome this week.

Well I'd love to visit the area mid-Feb onwards for a week. As a solo skier, can anyone recommend a reasonable guesthouse / hotel etc ? Thanks.
