Hi to all, new to J2ski and have been reading all the forums avidly over the past couple of weeks. A query please - we (family of five) are off to Kitzbuhel in two weeks and have just found out that the ski schools have amalgamated and have read some reviews which states if you want to learn to ski go somewhere else - bit late as we are already booked taking our 3 young children (ages 5 to 10) who learned to ski for the first time last year and need to keep up the lessons this year - any info on the teaching standard in Kitzbuhel which may help us - thanks!! Alternatively - should we go somewhere else?

I've just returned from a week's sking in Kitzbuhel. I had a fantastic time. It was my second week of sking, having learnt for the first time last year. I had 5 days of lessons in Kitzbuhel with the Red Devil ski school, and can't speak too highly of them. The lessons were for approx 4 hours a day, and the tuition was excellent. Having learnt in Austria last year, the method of teacing was pretty similar, and this continuity helped my learning.

The instructor I had was a local austrian, his english was excellent, and knowledge of the piste superb. The ski school organised a race for the last day of the week with a presentation evening to award the winners. I would certainly recommend the red devil ski school, and can't wait to return next year.

Hope you have a great holiday.
