val d'isere prices!!

thinking of booking a week in val d'isere first week of jan whats the beer prices like heard they can be abit steep? also the food after nothing fancy just cheap and cheerful?

Go to Banff, in a local bar on Sundays its 10c a beer!!

I can highly recommend Val D'Isere. It is expensive but for atmosphere and great all round skiing, it is a must.

I have a few favourite restaurants:

Le Petit Danois is good - also serves great beer. Terrific atmosphere, sexy bar staff - what more can you ask for?

Tufs (which is in La Daille)so you'll need to drive down or make sure that you know what time the last bus goes back up to Val. Get the Entrecote Steak - It's HUGE!!!!

Savoyarde - stunning local wine and a variety of fondues and raclette.
