Huge question Ruby - which continent? Assuming Europe any country preference??
Maybe you speak French, German, Italian??? Could be easier if you can get by with the language, although you will find instruction in English in pretty much all resorts.
In my experience, however, the beginners/easy areas in Alpes D'Huez are second to none. Snow sure and by the resort, huge (so less problem with too many people all crammed together) and with good lifts.

Risoul IMO is a fab place to learn! Small resort with all lifts going from 1 big bowl area with a lovely green run back home & really friendly ESF instructors. A DIY resort or go with Rocket Ski to the Hotel Morgan. Quiet apres - typically French - but a good choice of restaurants & a couple of bars for the evening.
