Do any of the car hire companies throw in snow tyres/chains FOC

Do any of the car hire companies throw in snow tyres/chains FOC or I am better off buying a set of chains in france. Also do any car hires companies not charge extra for one extra driver

I've just moved back to Ireland from Turin and most of the car companies over there will give you chains if you ask for them... at the end of the day they're risking their own car!! I'd say its the same in France

the difficult thing is putting them on, I used to stop in garages and ask them to do it for me, its cheap enough and well worth it.

cheaper to rent ,not very expensive between 10-20pounds weekly,realy easy to put on just make sure you practice before you really need them,and take them off when you dont,good luck

Every hire companie provide a winter pack. Make sure you ask them when you rent your car.
They should give you some chains aswell if you ask if not you can buy some if you expect rent a car every year.

And yes, every hire companie charge for extra driver, but I think it's around 25 euros for the week.
