Hi guys

I checked out skiguru and there was only one person listed for Kitzbuhel. He sent me an email today telling me he was fully booked for all of February. Any other ideas? I tried the ski school instructors there last year but was not too impressed with the one I had. Any personal recommendations for an instructor in Kitz?

You should ask the guy that mailed you if he has any suggestions, the fact he is there may give him an advantage and may know of other instructors.

Old habits are sometime hard to break, looks like there could be pain ahead



I'm not worried about some change. I've adapted as I've gone along as I started on the old long thin skis and have changed to suit newer skis. I would just like some analysis of what I'm doing and how I could get better.

I've always maintained my original philosophy with skiing. That is I ski to enjoy it and have fun, so as long as improving is fun then I'll keep at it. For the last couple of years I've not been concerned with improvement. I only go once a year so I have just gone out and cruised the red runs with the odd Black now and then and had a lot of fun. Now though I think I would enjoy trying to get better.

Ross F, is the Rick Astley comment for real or a wind up?

I am an impressionable young man, RIck Astley appeals, I like what he did with his hair in the 90's.

that's right, research suggests to acquire a new skill there's a low number of repetitions, something like 20 or 30 times, but to fix something you're looking at 2500-3000 or so.
