We have used both the esi and esf in chatel for kids aged 6 through to 12. Esi did have smaller classes, from as few as 4, but we found the esf progressed the kids better despite the 12 kids per class. Probably depends on which instructor you get. Toms was red hot totty with the esf, probably why he concentrated more! No doubt the esf have upped there game over recent years. There is also a British ski school in Chatel which Iam tempted with next Year

British Ski School are brill - I've used them once in Chamonix and twice in Les Gets for me in private lessons and my now 11 year old in a group. Can't fault them - I had a really bad experience with ESF in Chamonix years ago and lost loads of confidence. An hour with BASS sorted that out.

Yep, Avoriaz is a disgrace, I used to shut my eyes when passing through absolutly awful place ... we never stopped for drink :twisted:
