Engelberg 2014

Anyone going? Im really interested in going there this year :D Let me know if u have any suggestions!

I spent a few days there two seasons ago, nice place. My hotel was 100 mtrs from the base of the main gondola lift, easy walk even in ski boots. Town was about a 15 min walk to go in for dinner/eve cruising. I'd go back if the opportunity came up. One downside is that it's in a quite remote valley, not lift interconnected with any other resorts.

The Hoheneck is an eccentric yet friendly place. It is at the end of the pedestrianised main drag, but close to the bus route for the Titlis and Brunni lifts. They had problems with the heating and hot water when we were there, but the staff had a good attitude to sorting out the problems. Engelberg itself is a steep and deep paradise. Even the blue pistes are steeper than in most resorts. Great place for a short break or a long weekend.

Awesome, now we have booked Hoheneck and they promised they have fixed the heating now. Looking forward in going ther in two weeks. They still had rooms left so book and lets meet up!
