report after finding a ski buddy

Hi, I will definitely be going solo again; it has given me a lot of confidence. I met up with a girl thru this forum and a guy thru snowheads (who knew the area and was our own guide for three days!)

However, if I had not got on so well with the two single people I met thru ski forums I would have skied with people from the chalet. The occasional time I got lost alone on piste (strayed a bit) people were incredibly helpful and sometimes I followed them (visibility was poor at times).

The girl I met thru here was better than me so we met at the top and bottom of runs and she did reds/ blacks and I did blues. We flew out together and shared a room ar the chalet. Did hot tubbing, shared a private ski lesson, had meals etc together and did a lot of the same runs.
Will definitely have the courage rto try single skiing again.

Glad things worked out so well for you. I would not have the courage, I don't think, totake sucha plunge.
