What's it like for basic intermediates ie happy on blue and easy reds? Also 2nd week of April?

This season you'll probably be ok as the snow has been epic. But Morzine in April would normally be a massive gamble.

Morzine and Avoriaz, ideal for you in my opinion.

Was there 10 days ago and the pleny side of Morzine would fit the bill perfectly as would most of the Avoriaz side.

Les Gets links in as well, which I almost forgot and again fits in with what you want from your trip

We're in Les Gets for the next two weeks and would say this is a better area for intermediates and the snow is also better

Even if the snow was poor, I'd love to be in Les Gets right now !

Just back from Morzine yesterday. Loads of snow! Lots of rain last week in village, but snow up top. Good forecast for next week. Fabulous blues and reds skiing over Morzine/Les Gets area. You will love it! We usually go this week or next and have never had a bad ski - so jealous! When the sun comes out, it is heaven at La Croix in Les Gets. ENJOY!
