Does it have to be Swiss we have just come back from Portes du Soleil ski area. Skied across the boarder into Switzerland for about 4 days.

We stayed with this company http://www.starskichalets.com/

Could you give us a bit more info, e.g. what you want to do, on piste, off piste, level of ability, food style, i.e. French, German, Italian, point and method of arrival, type of accomodation, dates, etc?

If you like off-piste skiing and lively apres ski then Verbier is hard to beat!
Zermatt offers beautiful views and plenty of long scenic pistes, ideal for intermediates.
Both are not ideal for beginners.

Hello, I had made a booking in one of the finest hotels in Zermatt for last week of February. But for some reason I am unable to go. If anyone interested, I am selling my booking for a discount (it was a non-cancellable booking but the hotel has agreed to take in any guest I suggest in place of me). Let me know on chandgothia@gmail.com.

Thanks,
Abhishek

We've just returned from Grindelwald (Jungfrau Region). One of advantages - railway road . It's easy to reach from any Swiss airport/boarder. And not too much people on the slopes and in valley as well. Many options to choose preferable and suitable ski area and pistes, a lot of snow, attractive places and so on. But you should keep in mind that Switzeland became relatively expencive country in the last 2-3 years.
All the best,
Alex

Zermatt is a classic destination and a must visit resort at least once in your life! The skiing is phenomenal and the scenery is some of the finest in Europe.

I will on business in Switzerland and am looking for 3 day skiing Sat-Mon in Switzerland...I was thinking about Zermatt. Any experiences with Zermatt this time of year (end of Feb/early Mar)? How easy is to get from hotels in the village to the lifts? I hear it can be overcrowded on weekends? thanks for your advice.
