Hello guys and girls!
It's been a long time since my last posting on here, I've been working the last two winter seasons in Austria :-) Been awesome!

However, I'm back again and I'm looking for just a winter holiday this season to Val Thorens. I've been here once before (stayed in Meribel) and it was epic.

I'm trying to piece together a DIY holiday myself as a group of 4 friends are already booked up to go (can't add 1 more, they're 4 in a room) so I've got flights cheap enough, transfers cheap enough.. The only thing I can't seem to find for 1 (or 2 for the space) is accommodation at a reasonable price.

I was wondering if any of you J2Skiers happen to know of anywhere you can recommend? Perhaps any particular hotel or any websites that might help.
I've been looking for a while now and haven't come across much.

Many thanks!!

Baillie

Have you tried looking at the Val Thorens website?

You don't say when you are going, but a quick search on there returns a studio for 2 at 241 euros during mid Jan. There are several under 300 euro.

Have a look at http://www.valthorens.com

Hi Baillie353, when we went to Val Thorens I found a cheap apartment through the Val Thorens TO (as Far Queue suggested).

It was with the estate agent Val Thorens Immobilier and it was in the La Roche Blanche apartment block. It was a bit run down, but handy by the piste, and it suited us OK. There were also a couple of ski instructors on the same floor as us so I should think it's one of the cheapest places in VT.

But I wouldn't leave your skis in the storage lockers in case they get nicked (unless the place has improved since we were there, about 4 years ago.)

Hi,
How cheap are we talking. I stayed in a 4/6 (4 really) apartment for £450 in March.
