Meribel Acommodation 27 Dec for 2 Weeks

Hi

Hopefully someone here may be able to help or have some suggestions, for where else I can look!
I'm looking at road tripping down to Meribel on 27/12/12 and staying for 2 weeks,
Ill be taking my best mate, his brother and girlfriend. (3 very poor students, don't worry i'm a professional! but don't want to be covering their cost!)
They're on a budget so I'm trying to come up with some solutions/ideas.
Its likely that the brother and girlfriend will then stay out looking for work/do the rest of the season, but i'll come back after 2 weeks with my mate.
Does anyone have any ideas of accommodation for those times, we are easy on rooms i.e. 1 room 4 beds, 1 room 2 beds, 2 rooms 2 beds etc etc flexible to the max! Self catered would be ideal, but we really don't mind, hostel/dorm types are fine.
We would prefer Meribel, but with little to no budget I appreciate I will have to start looking further out like Brides Les Bains.
I also run a bar and a security company in England, so another option is helping out over the NYE period in exchange for cheap accommodation as a thought? I'll be coming out in my works 4x4. My mate is one of my bar managers, so we have lots of experience!


Anyway, anything anyone knows or could help with or suggest would be amazing!
