Hi,
Can you help us further with composing a ski trip to Slovakia?
We expect to arrive to Krakow Airport and we want to make the trip as cheap as possible ;)
I assume that the best ski resort in Jasná ("Lower")?
1. Is it correct that Jasná "Lower (Jasna Nízke Tatry - Chopok sever)" and Jasná "Higher (Jasna Nízke Tatry - Chopok Juh)" are associated with the same ski pass?
2. But in which of the two places is it possible to live in apartment / private (I expect that the hotels are expensive)?
3. And which of the two resorts is placed the shortest distance in connection to transfer from Krakow Airport?
4. Do you know someone who makes complete ski package?
Thank you for your help!
Will you help us with a skiing trip to Slovakia?

I went to Jasna for two years running. The lift pass does cover both areas, and they are linked over the top of the mountain. They are Jasna North and South not higher and lower. That is the High and low tatras, Jasna being part of the low tatras.
We used www.skiandsnowboardslovakia.com. Ed is the owner, and together with Ruth his girlfriend gave us a brilliant holiday. Check out their website. We flew into Bratislava, and caught the train to Liptovsky Mikulas which is close to the resort, and then Ed picked us up. Get your queries to him. There are also good links on his web site. This is definitely a cheaper holiday than in Austria or France, and the snow is not bad.

Hi Cristian,
We've got a chalet, ski & snowboard school and a wakeboard school all based around Jasna. We've been here for about 7 years now so should be able to help you out here!
Its the same resort, North & South. The south side is the quieter more underdeveloped (read that as drag lifts) side of the resort. The north side has had tons of investment in the last couple of years making it a very modern and top resort.
If Budget is the main aim, you want to stay away from the resort. Take a look at the villages away from the mountain that are closer to the town of Liptovsky Mikulas that include all transfers to slopes and into the city, or stay in the city itself (around 20minutes to resort/35 by public transport)
The north side is closer to Krakow - to be honest there is no real reason that you would want to be on the south side to stay unless you were with a large family group and having a private cottage was your main aim - its very secluded and beautiful nature on that side.
To remain impartial, packages are organised by the following people;
http://www.propagandasnowboards.com <-- our place.
http://www.chaletslovakia.com
http://www.skiandsnowboardslovakia.com
http://www.skichaletslovakia.co.uk
http://www.skijasna.com <-- our ski school and rental
Hope that helps and if you need anything else just let us know.
