Thought I would pass this on for info, but it is now possible to purchase your Vignette and prepay some other other Austrian Tolls (such as the Brenner Pass) online.
The online options are the same price and length as the usual stickers, but are linked to your numberplate. You select the start date for the Vignette and can buy multiples at once if required. Hi Rossyhead, I am pretty sure that some of the big TO's will sell you a return seat on one of their coaches if they have something running. They won't drop at your hotel, but will drop and collect from somewhere central in the resort. A friend of mine got a transfer with Crystals like this last season for about £50 return. Might be worth you giving them a call.

Perhaps we should think about buiding screens into the tips of the skis and covering entire resorts with wifi so people can chat on the preferred app of the day while skiing down a run? :(
