Okay it's gonna have to be an online purchase. Ikea would be perfect for reasons I will disclose after I spend next weekend in Helsinki 8)

Cheapskate :(

oh okay then, I will handcraft one from leprechaun tusk and elf hind, carry it through the himalaya on my naked, broken back then make myself comfortable in your residence for a month whilst I beta test the thing before giving you all my daughters and life assurance policy.

Better? ;)

Why go to all that trouble...Sticking four legs on your tray should do the trick!
Knee inquiry

Eljay wrote:I wouldn't know what would be best for your particular injury, I can only go by personal experience. I damaged cruciate, lateral and medial ligaments. There is a bit of instability there, but with lots of quad exercises I can ski most things without problems. I do however wear a knee support, as sometimes my knee swells up after skiing. I always carry crepe bandages and tubigrip with me, and I will wear that after skiing if I feel I need to.

I have worn a knee support for years as I have always suffered with my left knee swelling up, within hours, when skiing. Since I have had my new boots (now used for 10 days skiing) I have had no problems with the knee at all.
Happy days!

Apart from lack of slopes and chairlifts, I think gadget girl should also be warned about the locals...
