I'll be wearing one, bought mine last season, before the canada incident, guess i bought it as i'm gettin faster and more adventurous that it makes sense really.

For me it's get up, SHOWER, this part is key to actually waking up! Put some thermals on a sallo's and a jumper, go get some breakfast, usually of the hot variety, and fruit juice, don't like tea or coffee. Then stick all the rest of my gear, make sure my bags packed with camera, red bull/ water and choc, and head down to the hire shop, pick up my ski's, aim for around the first lift. No apprehension on the way up as i regularly ski mat's so i know i can still ski! :D

It does seem that the outrageous habit of charging to use a poorly maintained loo is rather too common in the big resorts; don't recall being charged in Les Arcs though, or Les Deux Alpes.

I'm with Wickers; never encountered it at all in the more "French" resorts.

They were charging at some toilets in les deux alpes, this february just gone!

I don't know why i wear a helmet, last season was the first time i did, but i don't really remember the reason for deciding to! strange!

Am i weird in that i like to rest i foot/ski on the foot rest, whilst swinging my other foot, feels great!
