Well, I have a weeks holiday this week not a lot of jobs to do at home accept to day it is Little W's birthday and her party on Saturday ........ so I thought I would sit down and spread sheet what this seasons ski holidays are gonna cost.
And was I in for a shock this year I shall be spending £4600 on two ski holidays nearly £3k of that is driving to LGb next January and £1.6k on Livigno in March, I'm seriously thinking about not driving in 2011, I'll possible save a grand !!!!!!!!

I am doing a "cheap as chips" option in Jan 2010.

Flights from LPL to Nice £61 Return
Transfers Nice to Isola 2000 £2 return
seven nights selfcatering Apt 4
(shared between 2) + six day lift
pass + ski & boot hire = £258

Therefore full trip excl meals and refreshments £321. Of course I could well end up spending a fortune on food/Drink however hopefully will make more use of supermarkets than restaraunts.

You never know there might be enough left in the kitty for another trip in March/April time :D

I'm quite interested in your transfer to resort at £2, I think I might be following your lead for next year

One of the main reasons I chose Isola (2 Euro transfer) Local bus company does it however you do have to book in advance. Transfer takes you from front of airport to middle of resort 1 Euro each way.
