Skiing in April...

Obertauren also in Austria could be a decent bet the season there lasts into May. Also Somewhere like Mayrhofen which has access to a Glacier would be a fair shout, also in Austria.

Looking into France possibly somewhere like Les Arc or Les Deux Alpes would be fairly decent for that time of the year, both with lift access to Glaciers

I have very little knowledge of skiing near Milan, but if it's any help snowy mountains were visible from my bedroom when i was there for a short break back in late march! I'm sure there'll be something available!

How about Cervinia in Italy, it's linked up with Zermatt so definite skiing possibility as well as the fact cervinia is about 2000m's at the village!
As we can all see Pablo has actually been recruited by skibig3.com! :P

Winter park was nice when i went there but it was my first week of skiing so i didn't really do it justice! I do remember a hell of a lot of moguls though!!
From what i understand the freestyle stuff is the best you can get on Glaciers, despite it not being known as the best

I'm fairly sure it was the Cheval Blanc i stayed in, in december! The hallways etc were freezing, be prepared! Rooms themselves were fine for what they were(uni ski trip) There's a supermarket just up the road from the cheval blanc and as has been mentioned the one in the precinct. Pretty sure they're open on sunday but can't remember exactly!
